Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy observed World Autism Day in Arivu Early intervention Centre on 3d April 2023. Ms. Poornima Bhat, Director Arivu Trust, welcomed the gathering. The program was inaugurated with a prayer song sung by the special kids of Arivu followed by lighting the lamp. Dr. Sanjay Eapen Samuel, Principal, Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy spoke about the importance of awareness for autism and significance of early screening and Ms. Poornima Bhat shared her experiences about handling the autism kids. The kids were engaged in games as well as action songs, which made the event more colorful. The program was concluded with vote of thanks given by Dr. Sreejisha Pk, In charge of Pediatric Physiotherapy Department AJIMS.
