Physiotherapy Clinic at A.J. Towers.
Clinical Facilities
LMCP has access to the most modern clinical facilities of the 750 bedded A J Hospital which is attached to the medical college managed by the Trust. The hospital provides both out-patient and in-patient physiotherapy services. We have a full fledged physiotherapy clinic in our college premises, servicing from morning to evening. All students during their clinical training are posted at the Advanced Physiotherapy Clinic which is located in the hospital. This provides them with excellent exposure and training in treating patients with the latest / advanced physiotherapy equipment.
In the clinical areas all students are being monitored and supervised by the faculty member.
Library
College has an extensive library with the latest editions of medical and physiotherapy books, subscriptions to professional and popular periodicals, journals, Internet facilities, direct link with the Rajiv Gandhi University Consortium (Helinet) and an access to online journals. At present, the library has in its possession around 3,000 books for the students and teachers to make use of. The library is kept open till late in the evening.
Audio-Visual Lab
Classes are taken using the latest equipment like LCD, OHP etc. with power point and video presentations. The students are also trained to use the same.
P G Library
The post graduate students have their own section in the library where they can carry out their research work. A separate computer with an Internet connection has been provided to the P.G students in the library to assist them in their research work.
Internet Facilities
Broad band internet facility is available for all students and staff with Wi-Fi.
Gymnasium
The college gymnasium is designed to enhance the physical as well as mental orientation of students into sports physiotherapy. The students are trained by experts in the field and special emphasis is given to participation in sports.
Physiotherapy Education Programmes
The Institute organizes Continuing Physiotherapy Education seminars and symposium to improve the quality of its staff and students.

Conveyance
A fleet of buses are maintained by the college to provide transport facilities to the students. The hostelites can avail the bus facility to attend classes, the clinic or library and to get back to the hostel. Other students and staff can avail the facility from college to hospital and back to college .College bus is provided for other inter college sports and cultural events as well as other academic events for representing the college.
Medical Care
In the case of an illness, students will be treated at the A. J. Hospital and Research Institute under the Medicare scheme. There is also an insurance coverage for all students against accidents, calamities and serious injuries causing physical disabilities. Students are immunized by the Hepatitis B vaccination and are advised to follow protection to control cross infection.

Other Essential Facilities
Cafeteria
There is a canteen and a post office next to the college campus. Other essential facilities like banks, ATMs, shopping centres etc. to cater to the day-to-day needs of the students, are available nearby.
Hostels
It is desirable that students stay in hostels. For first year students, it is mandatory to reside in the hostels. From II year onwards, students who wish to make their own living arrangements need to submit a consent letter from their parents, and provide their local address, contact number and subsequent changes if any to the college office.
Smoking/ consumption of liquor is prohibited in campus and hostels; offenders will be dealt with severity. Students found guilty may be expelled from the hostel and no refund of rent will be given.
In case of ill health, students may avail consultation and treatment facilities at AJIMS. They should report to the warden and respective class in-charge and also keep the parents informed; it is advised that one of them is present in the event of hospitalization/any necessitated surgical procedure.

The AJ Hospital offers the most comprehensive range of health care services.
Special rooms: The 100 special rooms which have regular, air-conditioned and suite type of rooms are designed taking into account the comfort of the patients coupled with good nursing care.
Evening clinics: Evening clinics are available from 4.30 to 7.30 pm on all working days. Consultation on all specialities of medicine and surgery are available. The 24 hr clinical laboratory services are also available during consultation as required.
Health check-up plans: The hospital has launched a health check-up plan that caters to all age groups from children to senior citizens. These plans are designed to identify general health or specific health aspect at affordable costs and are handled by well experienced doctors. The plans cover consultations and diagnostics like X-ray, blood & urine analysis, ECG, TMT, Ultrasound and specialized tests.
