International Day of Action for Women’s Health

Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy organized a self defense training program to observe International day of action for women’s health on 29th May 2023 at LMCP auditorium for the girls of 1st year BPT.

The event was hosted by Sameeka Anmul (General Secretary Student Council LMCP) of LMCP. Dr.
Sanjay Eapen Samuel, Principal Laxmi Memorial College of Physiotherapy addressed the gathering. The
thoughtful presentation on women’s health was given by post graduate student Ms.Aditi Kulkarni . The
event was graced by the presence of Mrs.Ankita Shetty (Black belt Dan 2 in martial arts) who presented
about self defense, panic control, alert mind, attack points and also demonstrated the techniques of self
defense to protect them.

Miss Vibisha (National medalist in 100m and Zuese fitness club trainer) and
Mrs. Shailaja (National level weight lifter) gave inspiration for the students.
Miss Usha Bangera (Dance Fitness trainer) gave a wonderful dance fitness session which all the girls
enjoyed. The event was successful with guidance of Dr. Haripriya S, Associate Professor LMCP and
Dr. Sreejisha.PK, Assistant Professor LMCP. The event was concluded by vote of thanks by Adhithi
Avinash (Student Welfare Secretary Student Council LMCP).
